Starting Sunday people in Wisconsin will have to dial local numbers using 10 digits: the area code and the seven-digit phone number.This is a change for those in area codes 262, 414, 608 and 920.

MADISON, Wis. - All customers with the area codes 262, 414, 608, and 920 will need to dial the area code and telephone number in order to connect their local and long-distance calls beginning Oct. 24.
