This wave from the feature film FAR NORTH was by far one of the worst wipeouts I have ever endured in my 25 years of surfing. The wave smashed my face on the reef and almost pulled my arm out of it's socket, and then threatened to throw me up a 25 meter cliff which sits in the foreground of this shot.
