Interestingly enough when it comes to beetroot and beet root extract, we find higher levels of nitrates which get turned into nitric oxide not in the organic beets, but actually in the regular ones. What this means is that in the case of beets and beetroot, you don't necessarily have to go organic like I would recommend you do with most other produce. That being said, it would still do you good to make sure wherever you're buying from isn't using a ton of pesticides on their produce as well. Bee
