Youth members of the Rocky Mountain Young Marines recently performed a flag retirement ceremony at Stillwater Ranch in Colorado. During the dignified ceremony, flags were burned in accordance with the flag code. The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.
