Today in L&S history… October 25, 1977: “The Robot Lawsuit” airs. While shopping in a toy store, Laverne is attacked and injured by Roger the Robot. A shyster lawyer decides to coerce them into pursuing legal action, leading the women into some major courtroom drama. (I’ve always had a soft spot for this particular scene because my grandmother’s name was Mozelle… and boy did she let me bring my L&S VHS tapes over on the weekends and watch them.)
