As the criminal trial of Whitefire Kennels and Samoyed breeder Barb Kavars gets underway this week, I thought I would share this poignant video featuring just some of the 164 Samoyeds that were rescued through our shelter. Our Shelter Manager's daughter (Mackenzie) created this video to show the amazing transformation these dogs made from a life of confinement as breeding stock to being rescued, adopted and becoming beloved pets to hundreds of adoptive families.
